With a new version of the Challenger muscle vehicle that is so quick that it has been barred from drag

racing in its factory form, Dodge is saying goodbye to its legendary 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine.

The Hemi engine in the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 has undergone a number of improvements,

increasing its outputs while using E85 gasoline to 1,039 horsepower and 1,281 Nm.

A substantial chunk of the increase is attributable to the use of E85, which is composed of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.

When using normal E10, outputs drop to 912 horsepower and 1,098 Nm.
